Sport Psychology
1:1 sessions for sportspeople
Sport psychology isn't just about ‘thinking positively’. It's about understanding how your mind works in the context of your sport, and developing ways to work with thoughts, emotions, attention and actions that help you perform at your best and enjoy your sport.

A space to work things through
What are Sport Psychology sessions like?
One-to-one sport psychology consultations are a fantastic way to engage with support and advice that is entirely tailored to you.
01
Start with your story
Typically, your first session will entail a thorough discussion about your sporting experiences, aspirations, strengths, and challenges. We’ll talk through what you want to gain from sessions and create a plan around working together.
02
Work as a team
Sessions will feel like teamwork: I’ll be your sounding board in hearing your experiences, concerns, ideas and reflections; and I’ll also offer evidence-based guidance and practical strategies.
03
Take it into your sport
After each session, I will send you a short summary and resources if appropriate that will help you to digest, reflect, and practise mindset skills.
Is Sport Psychology for me?
different sports
I am passionate about supporting anyone who wants to get the best out of themself and their sport. I regularly work alongside elite and world-class athletes, as well as recreational, grassroots, club level, and age-group sportspeople.
I also support people who have taken on their own sporting challenge; from gaining confidence to step foot in the gym, to running their first ultra. I have now worked in over 60 different sports, so it’s likely I’ll have a good understanding of yours (but I’m always curious about new disciplines!).
You also don’t need to be at crisis point or have a major problem: You might simply want to understand yourself better or be curious about using mindset to optimise performance. I offer a 20 minute introductory call, to help you decide if it feels like a good fit to work together.
